Beautiful Birds, Powerful Beaks
Unlike standard local birds, parakeets have incredibly strong, hooked beaks designed for cracking hard nuts. Unfortunately, they use these same beaks to chew right through exterior woodwork, fascia boards, and plastic vents to get into your warm loft space.
Once they—or other common pests like pigeons—settle in, the damage multiplies:

Solar Panel Hazards: Birds love nesting under solar panels. They trap heat, chew through expensive wiring (a major fire hazard), and their nests restrict airflow, causing panel efficiency to plummet.

Toxic Guano: Bird droppings are highly acidic. Left uncleaned, guano will permanently etch solar panels, erode stonework, and pose a serious biological health risk to anyone on the property.
Note: Parakeets are protected wild birds in the UK. You cannot simply remove active nests or harm the birds. The only legal, effective solution is professional, preventative bird-proofing.

3. Safe, High-Temperature Clean Up

The low-pressure steam safely breaks down baked-on, acidic guano and sanitizes the area without risking your property. (To keep things simple and avoid waste transport fees, we neatly bag all debris for disposal in your on-site bins)
