Reach & Wash Cleaning in Essex

Reach and wash cleaning uses purified water fed through telescopic poles to clean windows, frames and exteriors several storeys above ground without ladders or chemicals.

The pole system changed exterior cleaning for the better. Filtered, de-ionised water travels up a carbon-fibre pole to a soft brush head, the operator works from the safety of the ground, and the glass dries without being touched by a cloth. No ladder footing on soft ground, no operative leaning off a sill, no detergent film left behind.

It suits everything from a domestic bay window to the lower floors of a commercial block: glass, frames, sills, cladding panels, fascias, soffits and conservatory roofs. Where the pole runs out of height, our spider lifts carry on from where it stops.

How reach & wash works, step by step

  1. Walk the elevations

We check what needs cleaning, how high it goes, and whether anything on the ground restricts where the operator can stand.

  2. Purify on site

Mains water is filtered and de-ionised so it leaves nothing behind as it dries. Purity is checked rather than assumed.

  3. Brush and rinse

The brush head loosens dirt on glass and frames; the pure water flushes it away and rinses the surface clean.

  4. Leave to dry naturally

No squeegee, no cloth, no chemical film. The water dries clear, which is why frames and sills come up as well as the glass.

Who reach & wash is for

  • Homeowners wanting windows, frames and conservatory roofs cleaned properly
  • Offices, showrooms and retail units with glazing above ground-floor level
  • Managing agents arranging communal window cleaning for blocks
  • Schools, surgeries and public buildings where ladders are a safeguarding and safety problem

Why choose LADS for reach & wash

  • Working from the ground removes the highest-risk part of traditional window cleaning.
  • Purified water cleans the frames and sills as well as the glass, so the whole opening looks right.
  • No chemicals means nothing runs into borders or drains.
  • If some of the elevation is out of pole range, we have the access on the same visit instead of returning with a different contractor.

Questions

Reach & Wash — asked and answered

Why does the water leave the glass spotless?

Because everything dissolved in it has been removed. Ordinary tap water dries and leaves its minerals behind as spots; purified water has none to leave.

How high can you clean from the ground?

Telescopic poles reach several storeys. Above that we switch to a tracked spider lift with up to 20 m working height rather than pushing the pole beyond what is safe.

Do you clean frames and sills too?

Yes, and it is one of the advantages of the system. The brush and pure water clean the whole opening, not just the pane.

Will you need access to my property or a tap?

We carry our own water. If we do need anything from you we will say so when the job is booked, not on the day.

Can you clean commercial premises out of hours?

Yes. We operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and are used to working around trading hours.

Do you cover my town for reach and wash cleaning?

Yes. Pure-water reach and wash cleaning is available across Essex from Wickford, and in Romford and east London, with work elsewhere in the UK by arrangement. See every area we cover.
