LADS supplies Hinowa tracked spider lifts with up to 20 m working height across Essex, always with a trained certified operator, for tight, internal and delicate-ground access.
Some jobs are only difficult because of how you get to them. A gutter three storeys up, a rooflight over an atrium, a façade behind a hedge line and a gravel drive — the work itself is straightforward once you are standing in front of it. Our tracked spider lifts exist to put you there quickly, safely and without the disruption a scaffold brings.
Every platform goes out as operated hire. A trained, certified operator travels with the machine, sets it up on site, works the controls and takes responsibility for the safe operating envelope. You are hiring a capability and a person, not a chassis you then have to find someone to drive.
A photo of the approach and the target is usually enough. We check working height, outreach, gateway width, ground type and whether the machine needs to travel through a building.
Site-specific RAMS are prepared for every job, covering exclusion zones, ground bearing, overhead services and rescue arrangements. Anything a facilities team needs for a permit is issued in advance.
The lift tracks in on rubber pads at walking pace, self-levels on its outriggers and is ready to work. Set-up is measured in minutes, not the days a scaffold erection would take.
Our operator positions the basket for each element of the job, then the machine folds back down and tracks out. No fixings, no ties, no scaffold left standing over a weekend.

Questions
Our Hinowa tracked platforms give a working height of up to 20 metres. Outreach reduces as you go higher, so tell us the target and the stand-off distance and we will confirm the position.
No. Every platform goes out as operated hire, so a trained certified operator comes with the machine as standard. There is nothing extra for you to arrange.
Tracked spider lifts spread their weight over rubber tracks and outrigger pads, which is why they are used on podium decks and grounds. We assess ground bearing before we track in.
Yes, where door widths, floor loading and headroom allow. Spider lifts are commonly used in atriums and halls. Send dimensions and we will confirm before booking.
Same-day access is often possible and we answer the phone 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Call 0330 043 0961 and we will tell you honestly what we can do.
Yes. Operated spider lift hire runs from our Wickford yard across Essex — Basildon, Chelmsford, Southend-on-Sea, Colchester, Brentwood and the rest — plus Romford and east London, and the wider UK by arrangement. See every area we cover.
